Upon arrival at Phnom Penh Int’s Airport, walk straight to the Exit Gate where our guide is waiting. After self-introduced, you’ll transfer directly to hotel in the city for check in (check in time is 2pm). Time to fresh-up and relax at hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

After breakfast, our guide will lead us on a Cyclo tour, a traditional mode of transport in Phnom Penh, offering a delightful way to explore the lively city. Our first stop is Wat Phnom, a significant Buddhist temple in the heart of Phnom Penh, built in 1373 and towering 27 meters above the ground. Next, we visit the majestic Royal Palace, constructed in 1866, showcasing vibrant Khmer-style architecture. Adjacent to the palace is the Silver Pagoda, housing numerous Buddha statues adorned with precious gems. Our cultural journey continues at the National Museum, a striking red building dating back to 1917, displaying over 5000 art objects made from various materials. We'll also visit the Independence Monument, a symbol of Cambodia's freedom, erected in 1954. A stop at the Central Market, known locally as Phsar Thmei or "new market," allows us to explore its vibrant stalls and Art Deco architecture dating back to the French colonial era. To end our day, we'll embark on a scenic cruise along the Mekong and Tonle Sap River, taking in the mesmerizing sunset views at the confluence of these mighty rivers. Phnom Penh's strategic location where the Mekong meets the Tonle Sap offers a perfect backdrop for this memorable experience. Our day concludes with an overnight stay in Phnom Penh.

Today's journey takes us to the hidden gem of Ta Tai in Koh Kong, a destination far removed from the usual tourist paths. Here lies a realm of ancient civilizations, where untouched virgin forests, rare orchids, and aromatic frangipani flowers abound. Vibrant hues and melodies from exotic birds, coupled with the mystery of jungle inhabitants, create an atmosphere of tranquility and seclusion. This ecological marvel deserves a resort that harmonizes with nature, captivating the imagination while ensuring an environmentally friendly experience. The route from Phnom Penh to Tatai in Koh Kong spans 270 kilometers and approximately 4.5 hours of travel time. As night falls, we find our rest in the serene surroundings of Ta Tai, Koh Kong, ready to explore the wonders of this unspoiled paradise.

Take a boat trip to Ta Tai waterfall. Afternoon, free for your own time. You can swim or kayaking or at night watch firefly. Overnight in Ta Tai, Koh Kong.

Meet your driver (no guide) and continue to Sihanouk Ville or Phnom Penh to take flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, meet your local guide and transfer to hotel for check in.

We wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise at Angkor Wat, a famous temple. It can be crowded, especially in December to March. After that, we explore Angkor Wat, taking lots of pictures of its details. We also visit Ta Prohm, known for its big trees from a movie. We go to a quiet jungle temple too, away from the busy places, for more unique photos. Later, we see another temple called Bayon with many towers and faces. We capture the sunset at a gate of Angkor Thom, which is a big ancient city surrounded by water. Then we go back to our place in Siem Reap for the night.

We will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place-to-place following water levels and current. We go to local pagoda, where you should change to clothes, we can get wet in as here we will experience the ceremony “Srouch Teok”, which roughly translates into “Water blessing”. A monk will chant in ancient Pali as he splashes water over us, washing away our sins and bad luck so we can start fresh and by being a good person can increase our good luck.
