DETAILED PROGRAM

Day 1: Arrive Hanoi

Upon arrival at Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and driver who will escort you to your hotel in the city center. Free time to relax and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi visit (B) - City and US Army Jeep tour

Discovery of the capital Hanoi. Hanoi is a fascinating city where ancient traditions mix with modern life - We visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (not accessible on Mondays and Fridays as it is closed), Ba Dinh Square where Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, a simple stilt house where he lived from 1958 until his death in 1969, the One Pillar Pagoda - it is built on a single stone pillar and surrounded by a lotus pond, making it a picturesque place for visitors. - Afterwards, we will go to the "Temple of Literature: a symbol of education" - The Temple of Literature in Hanoi is a historic Confucian temple and also the first college in Vietnam. In the afternoon, Special tour with US Army Jeep with driver we drive around Hoan Kiem lake, the Opera House, Long Bien bridge which was built under French occupation, Vietnam Military History Museum OR Hoa Lo prison museum (Hanoi Hilton). We then drive around the West Lake, stop for coffee and enjoy the views. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Hanoi – Duong Lam village – Mai Chau (B,L,D)

We'll pick you up from your hotel and take you to Duong Lam Village, located 60 km west of Hanoi. This village is like a living museum, with houses dating back 400 years. It's a significant place in Vietnamese history as the birthplace of two kings, Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen, who fought against Chinese forces for Vietnam's independence. Explore the village to experience traditional Vietnamese architecture and culture that has been well-preserved. Visit Mia Pagoda, built before 1632, and see ancient artifacts. The Mong Phu communal house is a must-see, showcasing ancient houses made from local materials. Wander through narrow lanes, observing daily life. This visit will give you deep insights into Vietnam's roots. At 2:00 pm, depart for Mai Chau, a beautiful valley mostly inhabited by the White Thai ethnic group. Arrive around noon and overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: Mai Chau visit - Chieng Sai, Cha, Cha Long, Na Tang, and Tong Dau Village (B,D)

All day visit Mai Chau. Your guide will enlighten you about the Thai way of life and the different ethnic groups in the area. The adventure continues at the Hich suspension bridge, where you'll board bamboo rafts for a gentle ride down the Xia river, immersing yourself in the daily life of the Thai people. After returning to Ban Van, the afternoon invites you to explore more on a bicycle. Follow peaceful paths through Mai Chau's countryside, discovering villages like Chieng Sai, Cha, Cha Long, Na Tang, and Tong Dau. This eco-friendly mode of transport allows you to delve into the authentic countryside, meeting warm-hearted Thai locals along the way. You'll be captivated by their friendly smiles, traditional stilt houses, and the picturesque landscapes of vegetable gardens and bamboo forests. In the evening, after savoring a delicious dinner of traditional dishes, delight in a dance and folk music show. Don't miss the chance to taste various types of typical Thai rice alcohol through straw sipping, adding a touch of authenticity to your experience. Overnight at Hotel

Day 5: Mai Chau – Pu Luong (B)

After breakfast, you'll be driven to Pu Luong. The journey offers stunning views as you enter Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Arrive at your accommodation in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring nearby villages, walking along the river, and admiring traditional water wheels. Rest in Chieng Lau village and return to Pu Luong Retreat for dinner.

Day 6: Pu Luong - Ninh Binh - Tam Coc (three caves) - Bich Dong Pagoda - Dinh Le Temple (B)

Arrive in Hanoi. Time for relax and breakfast. Depart Hanoi for Ninh Binh, often referred to as 'Halong Bay on land,' which enchants visitors with its stunning karst landscapes and tranquil river cruises." Continue to Tam Coc for peaceful boat rides through beautiful rice fields and high cliffs. You may feel amazed of how your boat captain uses their legs to row the wooden paddles. Explore the peaceful Bich Dong Pagoda in Ninh Binh, a place where ancient caves and beautiful architecture blend with nature, creating a serene experience in Vietnam We arrive at Hoa Lu, the capital of Vietnam that existed for 41 years under the Dinh and Le dynasties (between 968 and 980), where past kings are celebrated in a peaceful place. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Ninh Bình – Halong Bay overnight on Boat (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Ninh Bình to the world famous Halong Bay, ‘the "descending dragon", a drive of about 3.5 hours. Halong Bay is known as UNESCO World Heritage Site and captivates with its emerald green waters, thousands of limestone islands and enchanting boat rides. - You will board our junk for an unforgettable cruise. Spending a night on a boat in Halong Bay, you can drift under the stars surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the limestone karst rocks and the calm water. You can enjoy various activities such as kayaking, swimming, cave exploring and enjoying fresh seafood while taking in the breathtaking scenery - Dinner will be served with delicious local seafood on board, with other options available. Overnight stay on the junk. - Note: The cruise itinerary and schedule may change depending on the selected Cruise, weather and operating conditions.

Day 8: Halong – Hanoi flight to Hue (B)

Breakfast on board. After breakfast, continue your cruise through the breathtaking scenery of the bay. After disembarking, transfer to Noi Bai airport for the flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, transfer to hotel and check in. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Hue.

Day 9: Hue visita - Citadel - Thien Mu Pagoda - Tu Duc - Khai Dinh Tomb (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. 08.00: You will spend a full day visiting Hue, which with its ancient imperial citadel and rich cultural heritage is a captivating city that showcases Vietnam's royal history. - A sampan ride on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda offers a serene journey through the cultural and spiritual heart of Vietnam. - A visit to the Citadel in Hue immerses you in the splendour of Vietnam's imperial past, with its historic architecture and rich cultural heritage. - In the afternoon, visit Tu Duc Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb, a serene and beautifully designed final resting place reflecting the peaceful and contemplative spirit of the eponymous emperor Dinner on your own. Day 10: Hue – Danang – Hoi An city and Hoi An Memories Show (B)

Hoi An is known for its charming lantern-lit streets, ancient architecture and vibrant markets. - A visit to Hoi An is a must as it captures the essence of Vietnam's cultural diversity. In Hoi An, you will visit the historic Old Quarter, taste delicious street food, stroll along the riverside. - And learn about the rich traditions of this UNESCO World Heritage Site: Japanese Bridge, Quan Cong Temple, Fujian Temple, one of the ancient houses and the local market. Day 11: Hoi An free time (B) – No guide

Day 12: Hoi An – Danang – flight to Sai Gon, Sai Gon city (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer with driver no guide to Danang airport for your flight to Sai Gon. Now known as Ho Chi Minh City, it is a vibrant metropolis in Vietnam that combines a dynamic urban atmosphere with a rich historical heritage - In the afternoon, visit the Central Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel and Notre Dame Cathedral, inspired by its Parisian model. - Then, visit the moving War Remnants Museum, which tells the story of the Vietnam War through images and artifacts from the period. - Continue your city tour with a visit to District 5, formerly called Cho Lon and also known as Chinatown. It is a lively and bustling district in Ho Chi Minh City filled with colorful markets, historic temples and a rich painting of cultures. - We end our city tour with a visit to Thien Hau Temple, also known as the " Temple of the Heavenly Lady" to admire its ornate friezes and incense spirals. Day 13: Sai Gon – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B,L)

"Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Then drive to Ben Tre, where you'll arrive around 10:00 am. - Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River and discover local activities such as brick making and coconut workshops. Visit Cai Son and Nhan Thanh creeks and observe mat making by local families. You will have the opportunity to take a short bike ride or a tuk-tuk ride (a motorcycle that can carry up to 6 passengers) to explore the countryside and visit a family that specializes in weaving mats - Lunch is served at a local restaurant that offers authentic and typical dishes. - In the afternoon, explore the Palm River by rowboat and drive along the Cai Coi River back to Ben Tre City. Afterwards, transfer to Can Tho. Overnight at hotel in Can Tho.

Day 14: Can Tho - Cai Rang floating market – Sai Gon (B)

- Start your day early with a trip to the Cai Rang floating market, the largest in the region. You will see boats filled with fruits and vegetables. Next, visit local people's orchard to buy fresh tropical fruits and see how local specialties is made. - Afterwards, explore Binh Thuy's old house, which was featured in the 1992 movie "L'Amant"," based on the famous novel by Marguerite Duras. In the late afternoon, you will return to Ho Chi Minh City and stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 15: Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and use your free time to explore the city center through shopping or leisure activities. When it's time to depart, our driver will take you to Ho Chi Minh City airport, ending your unforgettable 10-day Vietnam tour
