DETAILED PROGRAM

Day 1 Welcome to Cambodia - Siem Reap arrive

Day 01: Welcome to Cambodia - Siem Reap arrive

Upon arrival at Siem Reap Int’s Airport, walk straight to the Exit Gate where our representative is waiting. After self-introduced, you’ll transfer directly to hotel in the city for check in (check in time is 2pm). Time to fresh-up and relax at hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 02: Siem reap visit - Preah Khan & Banteay Srei (B)

After breakfast, we go to Preah Khan Temple, a historic site near Angkor Thom. Nearby is Neak Poan, a small temple on an island in a former water reservoir. We then visit Tasom, known for its scenic spots and tree-covered entrance. Later, we explore the Akira Landmine Museum to learn about Cambodia’s recent history. We drive 35km to Banteay Srei, a small but stunning temple dedicated to Shiva. It's famous for its intricate carvings, often said to be so delicate that they must have been done by women. On our way back, we stop at Pradark Village, where locals make palm sugar and handicrafts. Lastly, we visit Banteay Samre, admired for its detailed carvings and beautiful pink sandstone walls. We end our day in Siem Reap, enriched with Cambodia’s ancient and recent stories.

Day 3: Siem Reap visit - Angkor Highlight (B)

We wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise at Angkor Wat, a famous temple. It can get crowded, especially from December to March. After the sunrise, we explore Angkor Wat, taking lots of pictures from different angles. We also visit Ta Prohm, known for its big trees seen in the Tomb Raider movie. We'll take you to a quiet jungle temple away from the crowds for unique photos. Later, we see Bayon temple with its many towers and faces during the Golden Hour. Our day ends at one of Angkor Thom's gates to capture the sunset over the water. We stay overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B)

After breakfast, travel from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh in a private vehicle with an English guide. Along the way, experience Cambodian daily life, passing through towns, villages, and scenic landscapes. This journey is not hurried; you'll slow down for wandering cows, water buffalo, horse-drawn carriages, and school children. Explore the Tonlé Sap, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Enjoy a boat ride, witnessing the unique 'floating village' with floating schools and even a police station. The village moves as the water levels change. You might want to visit Spean Pratos, an ancient Angkorian bridge, near Kompong Kdei. For the adventurous, there's an opportunity to try deep-fried tarantula, a local delicacy, in Skoun, known as 'Spiderville.' Spend the night in Phnom Penh

Day 5 Phnom Penh’s Past & Present (B)

After breakfast, our guide takes us on a Cyclo, a fun local transport, to explore Phnom Penh. First, we visit Wat Phnom, a tall Buddhist temple in the city center. Then, we see the Royal Palace, a colorful Khmer-style building, and the Silver Pagoda with its precious Buddha statues. We also explore the National Museum, filled with ancient art. Next, we stop at the Central Market, a vibrant place in the heart of Phnom Penh. Later, we enjoy a one-hour cruise on the Mekong and Tonle Sap Rivers to witness the beautiful sunset. This city, where two big rivers meet, is perfect for discovering the Mekong. We stay overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 6: Phnom Penh – Cardamom Mountain (B,D)

a private car (without a guide) will pick you up from your hotel in Phnom Penh. You'll travel for about 4 hours to Trapeang Rung. During the journey, you can stop for coffee and a light meal (you pay for your own food). When you arrive at the lodge in Trapeang Rung, you can freshen up in the lounge before taking a one-hour trip to Cardamom Tented Camp over the Preak Tachan River. You'll stay in a comfy tent. In the afternoon, you can go on a nature hike around the camp and see diverse wildlife. You'll also learn about conservation efforts by Wildlife Alliance. Spend the night in your tent.

Day 7: Cardamom Mountain (B,L,D)

After breakfast, Wildlife Alliance Rangers and a guide will take us on a patrol in the dense forest. We might spot wildlife along the way. The hike stops at the Ranger Station, where they display confiscated snares and traps. We can kayak back to the camp or hike. Spend the night in the tent.

Day 8: Goodbye Cambodia (B)

Transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure to next destination. It’s time to say goodbye, we thank you for traveling with us and warmly welcome you to come again.
